Ahhh I'm crying at their faces! My son was a dog from the local shelter. I raised him from under a year old until we let him go in our arms at 13 1/2 years old. This was 2021 I can't even talk or think about him without tears. I love seeing pics of people's four-legged hearts!

(Also I found you through Sarah's bootcamp VIP--I had her on my podcast and I'm keeping up with the replays!)

Oh my gosh, we've much to chat about Sophia. I am diving into your podcast now! Thank you for your lovely comment, and I understand your situation. I've never NOT had dogs, and the sadness of losing them is real, but they add so much to our lives.

I love this idea! I have a cranky old black cat named Maximus that loves to scream, but only when I'm busy doing something (like trying to write). I also have a very loving and happy four year old lab puppy named Elke. I call her a puppy because she's so happy and energetic that when we're in public, everyone assumes that she's still in her puppy stage, and when I tell people that she's actually four, they're always surprised. She'll always be a puppy to me, though.

If you would like to feature you and your pets on Paw & Prose, I’d love to facilitate that!

Not to be too dramatic, but I would die for Cash and Sully ❤️🐕

There is no doubt, I'm a pretty lucky human to have them by my side. I hate to even think of what happened to Sully before coming to us, but over the years, he's made small steps towards healing.

Cricket is my beloved pitty mix that we adopted when my son was small. I had to be won over to even think about getting a dog but she is a joy! I used to run with her and she would about rip my arm out of socket running after a squirrel! HA! She still lives with my son but always comes out to wiggle and get pets when I go over to pick him up. Because she is a pitbull people would grant me a wide pass. She might lick someone to death but she has no mean bones in her body!

Cricket sounds adorable. Oh, and I totally get the arm pulling, Cash still does it to me. Squirrel!
