I’m loving that you’re recording your thoughts and experiences of your MFA! For what it’s worth - I have heard multiple times that mature students are the best kinds. Like you mentioned, you’re ready to commit, you know yourself better…sometimes I wonder what my undergrad experience would be if I took it now and was truly passionate about the courses. Good on ya! And no, definitely not too late! You’re young, at least in my eyes 🙂

Thanks Tammy! I have to say - I'm feeling giddy now and so excited. It's a nine day residency and then all online. But at least we will have spent time with out mentors and classmates in person. It appears to be a series of semesters and not broken down into several classes but I will update you soon on that. Thank you for your support! ...and those books....can't say enough about them. Love them all.
For my last degree I was much older than the men in the class and younger than some of the women. But we all worked well together. You will thrive in this environment and your classmates will benefit from your wisdom, enthusiasm, and presence.
I have so many questions! You are a wonder to this world and class will be electrified by your presence. 🥰
